Contemplation

At the beginning
Is the end
Elements slumped
And sliced
Reverberations
Through the mist of us
Imprecise
In our dreaming
With mirrored legs
Ad infinitum
A human centipede
Of history
Indistinct
And blurred into chaos
Longing for
Less civilization|
And more meaning
With a growing need
For peace and quiet
On the long walk
To salvation
